The Fellow Traveller – the ONLY Pub in Bukidnon
MANOLO FORTICH, BUKIDNON – I finally had the chance to visit The Fellow Traveller in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon yesterday. The Fellow Traveller, also known as the ONLY Pub in the Province of Bukidnon, is a western style bar which serves simple but high quality food and drinks. This cozy joint in Northern Bukidnon is owned by one very affable Englishman named Kim – or should I say one interesting, authentic Englishman who has a penchant for the Godfather series and rich leather couches and who can whip up one mean cheesecake. Pretty darn amazing combination, yes?
The Fellow Traveller bar is just one minute off the National Highway. If you’re coming from Malaybalay City, take the first left from Rural Bank of Manolo Fortich. Just go straight ahead and soon enough you’ll see this white structure with painted pictures on its walls.
Now if you’re traveling with kids, you need not worry. The little ones will be kept busy with chess boards, checkers, dart boards, swings and see-saws.
However, don’t just visit The Fellow Traveller for the facilities and drinks — visit this pub for the warm welcome, amazing food and great conversations. They serve sandwiches, finger foods, Filipino dishes, steak burgers, hot sandwiches and low fat meals in wholewheat breads.
And yup…Don’t forget to tell Kim that you found out about his place here in Bukidnon Online!
