Kidnon drummer bags special prize in 132nd Araw ng Malaybalay Battle of the Bands
MALAYBALAY CITY, BUKIDNON, MINDANAO – My big, hearty congratulations to Paolo, the drummer of Malaybalay City-based Kidnon band! He bagged the “Best Drummer” special prize during the recently concluded 132nd Araw ng Malaybalay Battle of the Bands.
Paolo received a cash prize, some tokens from sponsors and a certificate. Way to go, Pao!
Kidnon, by the way, is the band led by vocalist Erik Dave “Dodoi” Beltran, the same guy behind the Malaybalay’s Finest Artists (MAFIA) group. Kidnon was also one of the performing bands during the “Sound Sexy” event held last June 9, 2009 at the City Covered Court. So kudos to Kidnon, too!
The 132nd Araw ng Malaybalay Battle of the Bands was made possible through the efforts of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman Niko Aldeguer and his staff. The City Government of Malaybalay sponsored the event. Other sponsors included ASTERISK Events and Communications, SMART, Bambini and Nature’s Spring Mineral Water.
