Former Bukidnon Rep. Neric Acosta joins Register and Vote Campaign team
BUKIDNON PERSONALITIES | BUKIDNON NEWS – Former Bukidnon first district Congressman JR Nereus “Neric” Acosta joined the Register and Vote (RV) Campaign – Cagayan de Oro City leg last July 30, 2009. Acosta joined Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, AKBAYAN Party List Rep. Risa Hontiveros, BAYAN MUNA Party List Rep. Teddy Casino and author Atty. Alex Lacson. Collectively called “RV Drivers,” the five called for people, especially first time voters, to register and vote in next year’s presidential elections.

While I understand that the Register and Vote Campaign is an advocacy program, I also cannot help but wonder if Sir Neric’s presence was a sign that he indeed will run for senator in the 2010 national elections.
Either that or he’ll join the Kaya Natin group, which recently declared him as one of Mindanao’s champions of good governance. Kaya Natin reportedly announced that they’ll file for a party list congressional seat next year as well.
