Valencia City Mayor Leandro Catarata joins DA Sec. Arthur Yap in planting rice
VALENCIA CITY, BUKIDNON – Valencia City Mayor Leandro Catarata recently joined Department of Agriculture Arthur Yap in planting rice. Catarata and Yap were joined by local DA officials, local government unit officers and local Valencia City farmers. Check out the photo below. As you can see, the agri secretary and the mayor aren’t afraid to “get down and dirty,” so to speak.
Valencia City is dubbed the City of Golden Harvest. Catarata, on the other hand, is reportedly set to seek for re-election come May 2010.
