Mt. Kitanglad named as ASEAN Heritage Park
BUKIDNON NEWS – This is definitely very good news! Our very own Mt. Kitanglad Range Protected Area (MKRPA) has been declared an ASEAN Heritage Park by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) environment officials.
The declaration was reportedly made during the recent 11th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Environment held in Singapore.
ASEAN is formed by 10 countries namely Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Lao Peoples Democratic Republic, Myanmar, and Vietnam.
The Mt. Kitanglad park now joins the list of 27 other ASEAN Heritage Parks.
Mt. Kitanglad is the third declared ASEAN Heritage Park in the Philippines, after Mt. Apo in Davao and Mt. Iglit-Baco in Mindoro Oriental.
Hopefully, the Bukidnon government will further its efforts of protecting this new heritage park.

Been to Bangkok City a couple of times now, first time was in January 2004, then back at Songkran 2006. What a fantastic place! It supplies for everybody: if your looking for cozy Thai people there is masses of them, if you want good thai food there is plenty and night life is rich. If you want a low-budget vacation, you can have it – if you need a costly holiday, you can have it as well. My friend is totally in love with the place and has just bought into a hotel over there. My kids love it too. What a fantastic place to celebrate Christmas!
