Been to Bangkok City a couple of times now, first time was in January 2004, then back at Songkran 2006. What a fantastic place! It supplies for everybody: if your looking for cozy Thai people there is masses of them, if you want good thai food there is plenty and night life is rich. If you want a low-budget vacation, you can have it - if you need a costly holiday, you can have it as well. My friend is totally in love with the place and has just bought into a hotel over there. My kids love it too. What a fantastic place to celebrate Christmas!
