Rising cottage industry in Bukidnon – pre-constructed and customized nipa huts!
MANOLO FORTICH | BUKIDNON BUSINESS | CONSUMER | BUKIDNON – Whenever I pass through the first district of Bukidnon, particularly the Municipality of Manolo Fortich, I often see these nipa huts along the roadside. These nipa huts have become a cottage industry of sorts especially for the residents of Damilag and Alae areas.
You can buy these pre-constructed nipa huts for roughly P15,000.00 each. You can also ask for a customized one.
I know a restaurant in Malaybalay City that has a couple of these in their own al fresco area. Each nipa hut can hold roughly 10 people.
