BUSECO general manager withdraws libel suit versus Bukidnon priests
BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON NEWS | CONTROVERSIAL – Here’s a welcome piece of news. News reports say that Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative (BUSECO) general manager Edgardo Masongsong has reportedly withdrawn the libel case that he filed against several priests in Bukidnon.
This is definitely a good sign! At least this signals the first step towards an amicable settlement on the issue pertaining to Masongsong’s stay in BUSECO. Read the related article here.
According to reports, Masongsong has filed an affidavit of desistance before the Office of the Prosecutor in Toledo City, where he filed the libel suit against members of the Bukidnon clergy.
Here’s hoping that this issue will be resolved very soon. Not only for the benefit of both parties but for the BUSECO member-consumers as well.
