Review: Bukin’s Grill Manolo Fortich Bukidnon eat all you can buffet
We had the chance to try the eat all you can buffet at Bukin’s Grill on the day of our big Dahilayan Adventure Park ZipZone Bukidnon zipline adventure. We’ve heard about this restaurant at Alae, Manolo Fortich and we figured it was about time that we tried their eat all you can offer.
Bukin’s Grill is a two-story restaurant located a few meters away from the Alae rotunda. It’s right beside the Shell gas station. Concrete steps will lead you towards the restaurant, which has that country feel. We went there during lunch but thankfully the high noon heat wasn’t that searing yet.
The eat all you can buffet is at the second floor of Bukin’s Grill. We were the first ones there so we had the first helpings of steaming hot rice. We found at least six (6) varieties of viand – and thankfully, they had a mix of everything – fish, beef, pork and seafood. They even served pansit and soup. That was one thing that we liked – a restaurant should always remember the word “balance.” After all, not everyone likes pork and someone may just want to eat fish and vegetables.
For P120.00, one can avail of the eat-all-you-can lunch buffet at this restaurant in Bukidnon. Apart from the food, the price also entitles you to unlimited servings of iced tea or you can have that converted to one bottle of softdrinks.
The servers at Bukin’s Grill were fast and courteous and even offered tips on which public transportation to use in going to the Bukidnon zipline park.
The verdict on the taste of the food? Pretty decent. Not exactly the type that you’d go and write home about but it was enough to satisfy one’s appetite. We liked the pansit, fried dilis and pork guisado, though! We also liked the fact that they served steaming hot soup. That, we surmised, helped calm our excitement over the fact that in about an hour after, we’d be zip-zip-zippin’ along the longest dual cable zipline in all of Asia!
You can also buy some Bukidnon pasalubongs at Bukin’s Grill. That was where we managed to buy the pine-yema, pineapple polvoron and even pineapple tart – products all made by Bukidnon-based enterprises.

If you’re coming from Cagayan de Oro City, Bukin’s Grill is on your right and a few meters before the Alae rotunda. Bukin’s Grill Bukidnon is also right beside the Shell gas station at Alae, Manolo Fortich.

Have you tried the Buco Pie from their Pasalubong Corner? It’s a real treat!
Hi Miss Marilou! How are you? Didn’t notice any pies being sold there. How much yun? Come to think of it, haven’t tried any Bukidnon-made buko pies yet!
Their Buko Pie is stored in the refrigerator so you have to ask for it. I like it because the piecrust is very thin and they use buco pieces rather than strips. I think it costs between P250-350 and goes in a box.
