BUKIDNON ONLINE – And now it can be told — roughly 4,800 people all over the world paid this humble Bukidnon blog a visit last November 14, 2010 — the very day of the much-awaited and much-talked about Pacquiao versus Margarito fight. For those who still do not know, we broadcasted a livestream (no commercial breaks, as seen on Pay Per View) of the Pacquiao – Margarito fight. The people who visited BukidnonOnline.com last November 14, 2010 were treated to free online livestreaming of the said fight, which was held at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

Thank you very much to each and every one of you who dropped by and watched the fight with us. There were minor glitches during the undercard matches but eventually, we fixed them and I daresay that everyone had a good time cheering for their bet. Of course, our money was on Pacquiao, who, by the way, was born in Kibawe, Bukidnon.

November 14, 2010 marked the day with the highest number of visitors on a particular day for Bukidnon Online. So again, thank you, thank you, thank you for the amazing support!

By the way, the “success” of the livestream could mean a couple of things including the facts that yes, BukidnonOnline.com and any other blog for that matter can host livestreams/live coverages and that BukidnonOnline.com and any other blog for that matter indeed plays a huge role in terms of tourism promotion.

So why not use blogs to livestream city or municipal council sessions? Why not tap groups such as the Bukidnon Bloggers to cover events or write about the province?

Let’s discuss.
