Better Internet during Duterte’s first 2 months in office

So here’s good news for all of us! Ookla, the global broadband speedtest provider, has named 12 countries in terms of download and upload Internet speed. Check out where the Philippines stands! We’re number 11, right behind Macau (for download speed) and Iceland (for upload speed) and a notch higher than Canada.

Now, I hope this won’t ruffle too many feathers. This does not mean that we now have the fastest Internet or something, obviously. HOWEVER, this means that somehow, the Internet connection speed here in the Philippines is finally, FINALLY improving!

That deserves a round of applause, yes?

And guess what, this survey was conducted within the first 2 months of President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration 🙂
