Bukidnon bans outside travel, imposes stricter quarantine measures

The Province of Bukidnon will now be stricter in its implementation of the general community quarantine guidelines.

Bukidnon Governor Jose Zubiri, Jr. signed Executive Order No. 20 Series of 2020 today, April 8, 2020. Listed there are several additional guidelines. However, the EO will only take effect at 5 AM of April 13, 2020 until midnight of April 26, 2020.

  • STRICT HOME QUARANTINE shall be implemented in all households and residents in the entire Bukidnon
  • Heightened presence of uniformed personnel in coordination with the Bukidnon COVID-19 Task Force, mayors and barangay captains in order to strictly enforce and monitor the home quarantine rules
  • ONLY ONE individual per household will be allowed to go out of their homes to access food and other basic necessities. All individuals must carry their quarantine pass. Whenever asked by law enforcement entities, that individual should also present the quarantine pass and a valid ID. For employees reporting for work, they can present their employee IDs.
  • ALL RESIDENTS and NON-RESIDENTS shall be DENIED ENTRY into Bukidnon upon effectivity of the EO.
  • ALL RESIDENTS traveling outside Bukidnon shall be DENIED RE-ENTRY at border points and community quarantine control points.
  • Health workers are allowed entry but only subject to quarantine procedures and presentation of valid IDs.
  • ALL public transportation shall be SUSPENDED during the effectivity of the EO.
  • Private vehicles, including motorcycles, may be allowed provided that only one person is in the vehicle and has a valid quarantine pass.
