Bukidnon Election Watch: Erap leading in Valencia City

This is our way of keeping everyone informed with the updates in Bukidnon in relation to the May 10, 2010 elections. Again, may we reiterate that the results published here are partial and unofficial.

As of 9:22 PM tonight, presidential aspirant Erap Estrada is leading in Valencia City. He has 10,049 votes. Second place goes to Liberal Party standard bearer Noynoy Aquino with 8,565 votes.

With regard to the Bukidnon 2nd district congressional race, Malaybalay City Mayor Florencio Flores, Jr. is reportedly leading with as much as 3,000 votes over Engr. Wenifredo Agripo.

With regard to the Malaybalay City mayoralty race, Malaybalay City Vice Mayor Ignacio Zubiri led in barangays Capitan Anghel and Mapayag. Initial reports from both barangays also show that Flores is leading in the congressional race.
