MORE BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON ONLINE | SCHOOLS IN BUKIDNON | CRIME – Two teachers of the Bukidnon State University main campus along Fortich Street, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon had one very sad piece of news for BukidnonOnline.com.
Apparently, a group of Bukidnon State University freshmen recently fell prey to a con man who pretended to be an employee of the said school. The suspect allegedly introduced himself as someone who was authorized to collect tuition fee payments.
What happened was that the freshies were supposed to enroll and the line at the cashier was long. The suspect allegedly then approached the victims and said that the cashier was “on break” and that they could just give the money to them so that he can enroll them quickly and properly.
The freshmen gave the man thousands of pesos.
According to the teachers, the man was wearing a reddish shirt and that his photo was captured by a CCTV camera.
While it’s good that the suspect’s photo was captured, we still think that what happened to the freshmen is very unfortunate. Hope they can still enroll

Hi Jerry! Thanks for your comment
Yeah, we just might do that.
Let’s see now. I saw that guy yesterday. He is 5’7″ tall and about 140 lbs. He is not hard to spot in this country, province and city.
Just a bit of sarcasm here because how will we ever be able to report him since we don’t know who to look for?
Maybe you can ask BSU to give you a copy of the photo or you can go to BSU and check the photo by the CCTV camera
