Bukidnon State University grade school teacher declared most outstanding

A grade school teacher of the Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon was declared one of the country’s most outstanding teachers.

BSU teacher Lora E. Añar is one of this year’s winners in the 2011 Metrobank Foundation Search for Outstanding Teachers.

She shares the recognition with 8 other teachers from various areas in the country namely Marcela E. Jingco, Angeles Elementary School, Angeles City; Dr. Teodora D. Conde, Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, Sta. Cruz, Manila, and Djhoane C. Aguilar, Panabo Central Elementary School, Panabo City; Dr. Chelo C. Tangan, Cagayan National High School, Tuguegarao City; Buenaventura D. Luces, Lusacan National High School, Tiaong, Quezon; Vilma C. Ambat, Baguio City National High School, Baguio City; Maricel S. Franco, Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya; Dr. Jericho Thaddeus P. Luna, UPM, and Dr. Allan B. de Guzman, UST.

The Bukidnon outstanding teacher will be given a plaque and a cash prize by no less than President Benigno Aquino III on September 5, 2011.
