BukidnonOnline.com Exclusive: Bukidnon State University chorale in Czech Republic (Part 1)

The Bukidnon State University Chorale successfully represented the Philippines at the 2011 Prague Quadrennial held last June 16 to 26, 2011 at Prague, Czech Republic. The BSU choir cum representative of the Philippines even bested 75 other countries and bagged the coveted Rainbow Cormorant Trophy.

The Bukidnon State University choir also participated in two celebrations marking the Philippines’ 113th Independence Day – they sang at a diplomatic reception held at the Hotel Hilton Celnice and at a program at the courtyard of the Shrine of the Infant Jesus.

Meanwhile, the BSU chorales also waved the Philippine flag at the Grand Opening of the Philippine Pavilion at Narodni Galerie last June 16, 2011. The event was held at the Scenography and Theater Architecture. The next day, the chorale performed at the Namesti Republiky stage.

The Philippine Embassy in Prague inaugurated the exhibition of traditional Philippine garments held last June 22 at the “Blumentritt-Rizal Bastion,” Velka Dominikánská Street in Litomerice, Czech Republic.

The Bukidnon State University delegation was led by BSU Chorale Director Mercibelle Barroso-Abejuela, Dennis N. Almazan and Dr. Sainuddin Moti.

Congratulations to the BSU choir! Congrats Ma’am Mercibelle and our biggest cheers to our dear friend Dennis! 🙂 Woot woot, good job!
