UPDATED: List of Bukidnon tourist spots included in Mindanao Bus Tour offer

UPDATE: Bukidnon Online, the longest-standing Bukidnon blog by a multi-awarded Filipino blogger and social media specialist, shared the news about this Mindanao tourism program almost 2 years ago (October 8, 2016, to be exact). Today, February 2018, we’re updating this post with more exciting news. The Department of Tourism has launched the “Go South” campaign which includes key Bukidnon tourist spots.

The Go Mindanao bus will tour from Davao City to Misamis Oriental and back again. In Bukidnon, the bus will drop by the following:

– Central Mindanao University for the Manobo Heritage of Maramag
– Pulangi Hydro Plant
– Bukidnon Sugar Central
– Camp 1 Maramag Falls
– Musuan Peak, Philippine Carabao Center, PhilRice
– Zubiri Deer Farm and Aviary

Another bus liner will soon ply the Bukidnon route. Davao Metro Shuttle will launch a “Mindanao Bus Tour” program in 2017 and it will include Cagayan de Oro City and Butuan via Bukidnon.

An initial Php 100 Million has been invested for the “Mindanao Bus Tour” program, which is being supported by the Department of Tourism.

Information released to the media stated that the route will start in Davao City going to Buda then Bukidnon then Cagayan de Oro then Butuan and then back to Davao.

davao metro shuttleThe bus fares are estimated to be 10 to 15 percent more expensive than regular rates. The higher fees may be worth it, however, especially since the buses will be equipped with restrooms, reclining chairs, free WiFi as well as TV screens.

Davao Metro Shuttle currently serve passengers around the Davao region. Their buses currently serve areas like Monkayo, New Bataan, Tagum City, Malita and Bansalan.
