Is it just me or are there no (or very few, as in the type that you can count on one hand) efforts from the Province of Bukidnon to help the victims of Typhoon Ondoy? Please tell me I’m wrong! I reckon donations are being accepted at the Red Cross Bukidnon Chapter (I have yet to figure this out but I guess this is but their duty to do so) but are there still other measures for us to show our sympathy and support to the victims of this catastrophe?

Just a few minutes ago, I learned that Davao City gave P10M as financial aid to the Ondoy victims. May I know if anyone out there knows how much the Bukidnon government has given or is yet to give?

Meanwhile, if you want to donate, please, I highly encourage you to do so. Why wait for Christmas if you can share your blessings RIGHT NOW?

Please read this earlier post for details. Thanks so much!

  • Hi, as far as I know, the diocese of Malaybalay has mobilized the parishes to donate to the “Ondoy victims” in Metro Manila. I admire your courage to help, and your distress call has been heard. Hindi ka nag-iisa. Carry on with “Bukidnon Online”! This network has brought a lot of joy, especially for us who are living outside Bukidnon. Kudos!

  • Thank you Fr. Jun! I just received a text message from Fr. Jojo. I also learned that DXIQ Love Radio Malaybalay is accepting donations. Yey! Thank the good Lord. I don’t know why but I’ve been so inspired lately to help out!

We have a fundraiser today (I wrote a separate article about this). Hopefully we’ll raise a good amount =) Please help us pray =)
