BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON NEWS | EXCLUSIVE BUKIDNON NEWS – BukidnonOnline.com had a pretty busy day today, thanks to Bukidnon Second District Congressman Florencio Flores, Jr. We had the utmost privilege of joining the former Malaybalay City mayor now Bukidnon 2nd District Congressman as he made the rounds today!
Although it wasn’t our first time to join the man fondly known as “Doki” in his rounds (we were pretty darn lucky and privileged to have tagged along during his days as Malaybalay mayor), it was our very first time to see him in action since he assumed office as Bukidnon representative last year. And we’re glad that we did!
We left Malaybalay City pretty early so we still kind of waited for our second wind. However, as soon as we saw Congressman Flores’ warm, genuine smile as he welcomed us aboard, we knew it was going to be a good day.
First stop was the 15th Aldaw Ta Kitanglad celebration at the barangay covered court in Songco, Lantapan, Bukidnon. These pretty ladies welcomed the congressman:
The 15th Aldaw Ta Kitanglad celebration had the theme “Human: Steward of Nature”
He was the keynote speaker:
Congressman Flores urged everyone to participate and cooperate.
We should all do our share in order to protect the environment, he stressed.
We’ll share more photos in the next post.
Thank you very much Congressman Flores for the privilege and for trusting BukidnonOnline.com!
