MALAYBALAY CITY – I first got wind of this piece of information from the owners of Rey’s Grill (one of my favorite restaurants in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon…it’s located at the corner of Tabios and Don Carlos Streets) They first mentioned to me sometime last week that agents of Globe Telecommunications have started roaming around Bukidnon and have started offering various broadband, postpaid and prepaid Internet packages.
A few days ago, they happily told me that Globe Broadband agents have already installed a wired Internet line at their home and that the connection was pretty fast.
Wow, I thought…does this mean that Smart Bro, Sotelco broadband and Philcom (now PLDT) Internet services are up against quite a competitor?
This is, of course, very good news for all of us Bukidnon consumers. The more alternatives there are in the market, the better for all us to make that informed choice.
