Liquor ban in Malaybalay City declared

A temporary liquor ban has been declared in Malaybalay City, the capital of Bukidnon. Under Executive Order No. 84, issued today, March 30, 2020, the sale, delivery and consumption of alcoholic beverages will now be prohibited.

This means that business establishments that sell and/or serve alcoholic beverages must remove or cover said products during the duration of the Malaybalay liquor ban.

Malaybalay City Mayor Florencio Flores, Jr. tasked the Business Licensing and Permit Unit of the City Hall to ensure proper compliance.

Moreover, the same EO also mandates the wearing of face masks in all public places. Mandatory wearing of face masks must also be done in private offices, public offices and aboard public and private vehicles.
