Malitbog Bukidnon becomes home of world’s longest painting

MALITBOG BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON ONLINE | BUKIDNON NEWS | FEATURES – The Municipality of Malitbog in the Province of Bukidnon is now the home of the world’s longest painting.

This is definitely good news for Bukidnon tourism!

The longest painting in the world entitled “Fishes of the Ocean” can now be found in Malitbog, Bukidnon. The painting is 122 meters long.

According to an article published in Sunstar, the longest painting in the world was brought to Malitbog by its owner Rolando de Leon.

De Leon said the painting was made by 6,000 artists starting in August 2005 with a symbolic subject in Christian belief of the fishes (the people), the ocean (the world) the symbol of unity and diversity towards peace.
