Manolo Fortich hydroelectric power plant shaping up

Looks like the 68.8 megawatt hydroelectric power plant in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon is definitely a go. This, after Aboitiz Power Corp. successfully secured financing of up to P10 Billion from several banks.

Hedcor Bukidnon, Inc. has reportedly obtained “loans and credit accommodations” of up to P10 billion from a consortium of lender-banks. Hedcor Bukidnon is a unit under Hedcor Inc., the company which operates all the hydropower projects of the Aboitiz Group. Hedcor, meanwhile, is a unit under Aboitiz Renewables Inc., the holding company for all renewable energy projects.

According to a news report, the Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon power plant is scheduled to be operational by the year 2017. manolo-fortich-municipal-hallThis development comes after news of a Miguel Zubiri-led group Php 1 Billion solar power plant in Kibawe, Bukidnon.
