BUKIDNON – Senator Loren Legarda served as the guest of honor during the 92nd Foundation Day Celebration of the Province of Bukidnon (Aldaw Ta Bukidnon) held last Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Senator Loren, who donned a Talaandig tribal costume, arrived in Malaybalay City at around 9:30 in the morning. The Aldaw Ta Bukidnon program was held at the Capitol Stage, Capitol Grounds, City of Malaybalay.
After Senator Loren’s speech wherein she pledged certain amounts as support to the Provincial Government of Bukidnon’s programs as well as to projects for local farmers, she and her entourage proceeded to a local hotel.
While having lunch, the senator also had a consultation session with local farmers and representatives of the local agricultural sector. At around 2pm, she then met members of the local press.
