Photos: Peacemaker band performs during Kaamulan Festival 2011

KAAMULAN FESTIVAL 2011 | BUKIDNON FESTIVAL | PHOTOS – So Bukidnon Online finally had the chance to visit the Capitol Grounds last night, February 20, 2011. We have been away from Bukidnon for so long and we have just arrived from trips abroad so last night, we were pretty excited to see how the Kaamulan Festival 2011 festivities were going.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We’ll tell you why on another blog entry.

For now, we’d like to share some of the photos we took during the performance of the Peacemaker Band (4ID Army band) at the Capitol Stage. Notice that the stage lights were really weak that we had to adjust our ISO and flash settings just to get decent shots of the performers. Tsk tsk. Also, you might notice in the photos that even the stage’s fluorescent light (!!!) was even used that night. Ayayay. Moreover, it saddened us to see that while the Peacemaker Band performed onstage, there were ongoing construction works on the stage extensions (for those who still do not know, the Capitol Stage is being expanded) so basically the people’s attention was pretty much divided that night.

Which makes one think — why oh why are there still construction works? The Kaamulan Festival happens only once a year and it seems everything’s still not ready. Pretty sad. Hopefully everything will be in place as soon as possible!

Anyways, kudos to the Peacemaker Band!
