VALENCIA CITY BUKIDNON NEWS – A radio station in Valencia City, Bukidnon is set to spearhead a medical – dental mission as well as a musical videoke-style event on August 26, 2009, two days before the formal celebration of the Valencia City Fiesta 2009.
Radyo Ukay – Valencia City, which is under the University of Mindanao Broadcasting Network (UMBN), will hold both events at the Plaza Rizal, Valencia City. According to station manager Nonita Rosales, the medical – dental mission will be held in the morning while a “Video-Ukay” event will be held in the afternoon until evening. The “Video-Ukay” event will be aired live.
Among the free services that will be provided for on August 26, 2009 are check-up, consultations, circumcision, pap smear, dental services and even free haircuts.
The public is invited to visit the Radyo Ukay – Valencia office before August 26, 2009 for more details on the medical – dental mission. Interested participants of the “Video-Ukay” event can also register at the said office. (BUKIDNON ONLINE)
