Report: Bukidnon may be hit by potential cyclone

BUKIDNON NEWS – Weather reports now say that a  shallow low-pressure area (SLPA) off Mindanao has moved closer to the Province of Bukidnon. This means that Bukidnon may be hit by a potential cyclone.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the SLPA was estimated at 50 km south of Malaybalay in Bukidnon as of 2 p.m.

“Eastern and Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over Bicol region, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao which may trigger flash floods and landslides.”
