The army blasted the act and called it “a ruthless act of terrorism.”

Maj. Gen. Victor A. Felix, Commander of the Philippine Army’s 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division said that the said act of terrorism should end.

“These acts of terrorism and cruelty amongst our businesses and the civilian populace should end. It is obvious that the burning is a result of desperation from the rebels to earn money by means of extorting from our business community,” Felix said.
