BUKIDNON NEWS – In this article published earlier about Valencia City Mayor Leandro Catarata, we found out that based on his 2010 Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN), the Valencia Bukidnon mayor is worth Php 1.21 Million.

This time, we find out how much the net worths are of Malaybalay City Mayor Ignacio Zubiri and Bukidnon governor Alex Calingasan.

According to an article written by Carolyn Arguillas, Malaybalay Mayor Inaki Zubiri is worth Php 1.95 Million. This means that Zubiri is richer than the mayor of Valencia City.

Curiously, however, Arguillas wrote that Zubiri did not indicate liabilities in his 2010 SALN. I’m not sure if this means that the Malaybalay City mayor did not have liabilities then or if he failed to indicate his liabilities.

As for the governor of the Province of Bukidnon, Alex Calingasan, the Arguillas article claims that the Bukidnon governor’s net worth is

Php 7.83 Million.

This makes Calingasan the 15th richest governor in Mindanao.
