One of the universities here in Bukidnon is still in need of a university president. Applications to the Central Mindanao University presidency will still be accommodated until Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
According to a notice of search posted at the Central Mindanao University campus entrance, part of the minimum qualifications include being a natural-born Filipino citizen and having a proven track record as an administrator (preferably in the academe, whether in public or private, for at least 5 years). Ideal candidates must not be less than 35 years old and not more than 61 years of age.
Some of the documentary requirements, meanwhile, include formal application letter addressed to the chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), clearances from various government agencies (NBI, Civil Service Commission, Sandiganbayan etc) and proposed vision, mission and development goals for the school.
CMU, known as the “Academic Paradise of the South,” is located at Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon.
I wonder if qualified people have already submitted their applications?
