SMART partners with Red Cross, puts up first aid station at Capitol Grounds
KAAMULAN FESTIVAL 2010 | BUKIDNON NEWS | CORPORATE – Now this is corporate responsibility at work and at its best! SMART, the country’s leading telecommunications provider and this year’s co-presenter of the Kaamulan Festival 2010 here in Bukidnon, partnered up with the Philippine National Red Cross – Bukidnon chapter and put up a first aid station at the Capitol Grounds in Malaybalay City.
The first aid station, put up right beside the Capitol Stage, helped a lot of people especially during the recently concluded Kaamulan Festival 2010 Ethnic Street Dancing Competition.
Kudos to SMART and to the Bukidnon Red Cross for such a great project!

Dear Bukidnon, let’s help the victims of Typhoon Ondoy please
Is it just me or are there no (or very few, as in the type that you can count on one hand) efforts from the Province of Bukidnon to help the victims of Typhoon Ondoy? Please tell me I’m wrong! I reckon donations are being accepted at the Red Cross Bukidnon Chapter (I have yet to figure this out but I guess this is but their duty to do so) but are there still other measures for us to show our sympathy and support to the victims of this catastrophe?
Just a few minutes ago, I learned that Davao City gave P10M as financial aid to the Ondoy victims. May I know if anyone out there knows how much the Bukidnon government has given or is yet to give?
Meanwhile, if you want to donate, please, I highly encourage you to do so. Why wait for Christmas if you can share your blessings RIGHT NOW?
Please read this earlier post for details. Thanks so much!
