BUKIDNON NEWS | VALENCIA CITY BUKIDNON – A barangay kagawad in Valencia City, Bukidnon was shot dead by masked suspects noon of January 22, 2013.
According to Bombo Radyo CDO’s interview with Valencia City Mayor Leandro Catarata, the 27 year old Gino Antonio Zambrano or Gino Zambrano, a barangay kagawad, was shot by a tandem that allegedly used a motorcycle as getaway vehicle.
Gino Zambrano reportedly came from the barangay hall when masked suspects shot him close range. The victim was shot on the head, on the neck and on his back. The suspects reportedly used a 9mm pistol.
The victim was rushed to the hospital at around 12 noon of January 22, 2013 but was declared dead on arrival.
Investigations as to the motive of the killing are still underway.
