Valencia City Hall official charged with falsification of docs
The City Planning and Development Coordinator of Valencia City, Bukidnon has been charged for falsification of public documents.
Valencia CPDO Junaida Prantilla is facing charges before the Office of the Ombudsman.
According to this news report, Prantilla submitted two liquidation reports for an activity conducted in Davao City in November 2008. The anti-graft office found that Prantilla used falsified receipts in her liquidation report for the expenses incurred during the 2009 Annual Budget Hearing.
The Office of the Ombudsman issued a resolution that alleged that Prantilla submitted two liquidation reports both dated Jan. 16, 2009 with the first stating the total expense at P396,000 and the second saying the amount of P151,288.
