BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON ONLINE EXCLUSIVE | POLITICS IN BUKIDNON – It’s confirmed. The Zubiris and the Acostas have forged a political alliance.
The Zubiri – Acosta partnership, one once believed will never happen as the Zubiris and the Acostas are longtime political rivals, is seen as a strategic step for the 2013 midterm elections.
No less than resigned Senator Juan Miguel “Migs” Zubiri confirmed this political alliance to Bukidnon News blog Bukidnon Online.
In a text message sent to Bukidnon Online, Migs Zubiri said: “Yes, we have made up with Neric” – referring to former Bukidnon First District Congressman Neric Acosta.
Another Zubiri also confirmed the alliance.
Incumbent Malaybalay City Mayor Ignacio “Inaki” Zubiri, who is believed to seek re-election, told Bukidnon Online that their party, the Bukidnon Paglaum Party (BPP) has “forged an alliance with the LP (Liberal Party), NP (Nacionalista Party) and UNA (United Nationalist Alliance).”

The senator "resigned" before he could be legally removed for election fraud. Why doe the Provincial Hospital still have a "we love Migz" sign out front? That is a public hospital so why is Zubiri, or any political character, permitted to have such materials displayed on PUBLIC PROPERTY?
mabuhi ang bukidnon.
This little boy, my son the Filipino, will never vote for a Zubiri or Aldeguar as long as the dynasty prevents Gaisano's from selling meat. Zubiri told me he wanted to avoid competition for the Public Market (competition is ALWAYS good for the consumer), but I think the reason for no meat sales @ Gaisano's is so there is no competition for the third rate Aldeguar Meat store.
PS: The benches in the post office say "donated by Vice-Mayor Zubiri" but unless he wrote a personal check for those benches they were donated by the ctizens of Malaybalay, not Zubiri. The ambulance in town "donated by (some Zubiri or other)" also was paid for from public funds unless the person whose name is on the side used his personal bank account to pay for it.
