Bukidnon earthquake registers 5.6 magnitude – Maramag is epicenter
BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON WEBSITE | MARAMAG NEWS – Lots of residents of Bukidnon were awakened before dawn Tuesday, September 4, following a strong earthquake in Bukidnon. The Bukidnon earthquake registered a strong 5.6 magnitude on the scale. It was initially reported to be a 5.8 magnitude earthquake but authorities have updated their infos plus the United States Geological Survey also recorded the Bukidnon earthquake to be of 5.6 magnitude.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or PHIVOLCS, the epicenter of the Bukidnon earthquake was identified to be in Maramag, Bukidnon specifically in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon, where authorities say that earthquake was at Intensity V.
The Bukidnon earthquake was tectonic in nature and occurred at around 3:44 a.m.
