Bukidnon 2nd District Rep. Atty. Jonathan Keith “John” Flores has reiterated the importance of adhering to the government directive to stay at home amid the threat of the deadly Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19.

In a statement, Flores reminded the public to remain in their homes and restrict their movements and/or travel especially if such are unnecessary.

“Usabon nako ang ako panawagan sa ato tanan na kung pwede lang mag pabilin kita sa ato mga panimalay ug likayan ang pag gawas kung Dili man gani importante ang imong lakaw,” he said.

“Ato huna hunaon na kita possible matakdan or kung naa na man gani sa ato ang sakit kita maka takod sa uban tao,” Flores added.

The neophyte congressman also stressed that only a handful of COVID-19 testing kits are available and not everyone may be screened.

“Dili pud makaya sa ato mga hospital kung daghan ang dungan magka sakit. So palihug lang magtinabangay ta ug mag sinabtanay ta nga karon nga panahon kinahanglan sa gobyerno ang ato kooperasyon.”

The entire Province of Bukidnon is currently placed under general community quarantine.
