Grenade thrown at DXGT Radyo Abante Bukidnon radio station
BUKIDNON NEWS | MARAMAG BUKIDNON – A grenade was thrown at DXGT Radyo Abante early today, hurting one employee of the said radio station. The grenade attack happened at around 8:10 AM June 26, 2013 at the DXGT Radyo Abante station located at Maramag, Bukidnon, as the station was airing a recorded program of hard-hitting commentator Joas Dignos.
Celso Caniamo, 21, who works at the said Bukidnon radio station, was wounded. The grenade landed on the balcony of Radyo Abante. The station is at the second floor of a building near the Maramag bus terminal.
Authorities say that two still unidentified men riding a motorcycle threw the grenade.
DXGT Radyo Abante is owned by re-elected provincial board member Gordon Torres.
