IN PHOTOS: Bukidnon awashed with lovely golden trumpet trees

“I think that I shall never see. A poem lovely as a tree.” These words off of a timeless Joyce Kilmer poem come to mind when you see the many golden trumpet trees around Bukidnon these days. It’s that time again!

The golden trumpet trees, previously known by its scientific name Tabebuia chrysotricha (now Handroanthus chrysotrichus), have garnered attention and interest not only among Bukidnon locals but from tourists and guests alike. We can’t blame them, though. The golden trumpet trees are truly breathtaking especially when in full bloom:
