Livestock and research facility project inaugurated in Malaybalay Bukidnon

A Regional Livestock and Research Production Building project recently broke ground at the Malaybalay Stock Farm in Barangay Dalwangan, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) led the groundbreaking ceremony last September 21, 2020.

The project, funded under the said department’s Livestock Program, is a two-storey building with a 200-square meter floor area. It is worth Php 4.5 million. It will be constructed at the center of the stock farm.

The event is considered historical especially since no buildings have been constructed in the area since 1974.

The said building will also serve as a “modernized landmark,” where all various livestock-related researches will spring up, such as the Philippine Native Animal Development, breeder maintenance, and distribution program, forage apiculture development, among others.
