Maramag Food Court now Wi-Fi ready

Yes, you read that right. The Municipality of Maramag, Bukidnon Food Court, located right in front of the Bus Terminal, is now Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) ready. You might be thinking, “wow, bongga!” — well, can’t blame you! Because it really is — bongga with a capital B!

For frequent travelers like me, who brings a laptop almost everywhere I go, Wi-Fi zones are important. A wi-fi zone is like the oasis in a desert, seriously. So it was a relief to see that the Maramag Food Court is already wi-fi ready.

A local telecommunications company provides the necessary Internet requirements over there. I wonder how much it would cost to log in.

Anyways, what’s important is that a laptop-carrying businessman can just easily go to the food court and quickly check his emails or surf the net.

Kudos to the local government of Maramag for being so supportive of projects related to new and emerging technologies!

Now if only the other Bukidnon cities and municipalities can be as aggressive as Maramag in terms of technology use and development…
