Netizens call for zero votes for “hypocrite” Antipasado

Netizens have been heavily criticizing a candidate for Malaybalay councilor, Provo “Jun” Antipasado, for not only using religion and morality but for also being an alleged “hypocrite.”

This, after netizens mostly followers of various Facebook groups and pages including Malaybalay Exclusive, Pulitika sa Bukidnon and Bukidnon Online, question Antipasado’s attacks against his former ally, returning Malaybalay mayoralty bet Florencio “Doc Boy” Flores, Jr. and fellow candidate for councilor, Jimmy Gellor, during political rallies.

Reports state that Antipasado would usually start his discourse with prayers but would end up attacking political foes instead.

“What he did was definitely in bad taste. To think nga pastor siya. Pakauwaw ra,” one netizen said.

“Zero votes for Antipasado. Ayaw na intawon na ipabalik sa Konseho kay walay batasan! Gagamiton pa ang Ginoo,” another one commented.

Antipasado has also been attacking Gellor on morality issues given that the latter is now with another woman. Gellor has long separated from his legal wife and has had a string of relationships outside marriage.

This prompted Gellor’s current partner, youth leader Princess Grace Gayon, to release a heavily worded, angry statement which can be found below:

“He can comment on issues but never against a family nga wala man siyay labot ato. Bastos ra kaayo iyang pamulitika,” a netizen shared.

Netizens also bashed Antipasado for being an alleged “hypocrite.” This, after a previous Facebook post of his dated January 17, 2018 resurfaced and showed that he received financial assistance from Doc Boy Flores, among others, for his cancer treatments.

“Magpasalamat unta siya nga natabangan siya ni Doc Boy Flores sa iyang cancer. Wala man diay sa iyang bokabularyo ang utang kabubut-on,” one commenter said.

“Walay puangod,” another one said.

For his part, Antipasado acknowledged that Flores indeed helped him. He also challenged Team Flores to bill him.

Antipasado is running under the Bukidnon Paglaum Party (BPP) ticket. BPP is a local party organized by Governor Jose Ma. Zubiri, Jr.

Meanwhile, Doc Boy Flores is running under the banner of the Nacionalista Party.

Gellor and Atty. John Flores, Doc Boy’s son who is gunning for Congressman, Bukidnon District 2, are under PDP LABAN. PDP LABAN is the official party of President Rodrigo Duterte. Duterte officially showed support for Team Flores in a rally last March 24, 2019. Davao Mayor Sara Duterte also officially endorsed Team Flores last April 23, 2019.
