New cafe along Valencia – Kapalong road opens

There’s a new “chill place” slash simple cafe made largely of bamboo in Valencia City, Bukidnon. Bamboo’s Cafe, located at Purok 2B, Kahaponan, Valencia, is set to formally start its operations on January 5, 2020.

Bamboo’s Cafe is located some 12 kilometers away from Valencia City proper and is along the Valencia – Kapalong National Road so it’s a great pitstop for travelers, barkadas or for those who want a quick escape from the city.

This new Bukidnon establishment also offers views of Mount Capistrano, Mount Kitanglad, Mount Kalatungan, Mount Kalayo / Musuan Peak and of the Pulangui River.

Bamboo’s Cafe offers meals and beverages. On their opening day, a live band will perform and a very small entrance fee of Php 10.00 will be collected. Acoustic performances will then be held weekly thereafter.

How to get to Bamboo’s Cafe:

  • If you’re taking a private vehicle, just follow the Valencia – Kapalong National Road. You can’t miss it since it’s just along the highway.
  • If you’re taking a public bus, catch a bus bound for San Fernando, Bukidnon at the new Valencia Terminal. Ask the conductor to drop you off at crossing Kahaponan.
  • If you’re taking a habal habal, fare will be Php 25 per person, per way if you’ll start from the Old Valencia Terminal.
