VALENCIA CITY BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON NEWS | GOVERNMENT | POLITICS | VALENCIA CITY NEWS – The proposal to divide Poblacion Valencia City into 4 barangays was recently raised once more. The Valencia City mayor himself even raised the possibility of dividing Valencia City’s largest poblacion into 4.

Valencia City Mayor Leandro Catarata, in a press conference in Valencia City recently, said that because Poblacion is the largest barangay and therefore has more constituents, various social services are not sufficiently delivered. He said that if Poblacion is divided into 4, the budgets will be allocated accordingly and better services will be provided.

Catarata did admit, however, that the proposal is still up in the air since there’s still no date for the plebiscite. There are also no dates yet nor concrete plans for public hearings on the matter.
