Recommended for your Kaamulan shopping list: rice goodies!

CONSUMER | BUSINESS | FOOD – So apart from catching the much-awaited Kaamulan Festival 2010 Ethnic Streetdancing Competition on March 6, 2010, watching the other shows over at the Capitol Grounds and immersing yourself in the unique Bukidnon culture, there’s one thing that you ought to do during the Kaamulan Festival 2010 – SHOP! And Bukidnon Online highly recommends that you include rice goodies in your shopping list this year.

Here’s one find that my brothers and I truly liked – rice rings:

These are simple but delicious rice treats sold for only P10.00 for a pack of 4. I bought a pack with slightly burnt rice rings but they still tasted fine.

Here’s another rice goodie that you may want to purchase – rice choco polvoron! This is definitely a treat for those with the sweet tooth:

As you can see, the rice choco polvoron is a product of the Federation of Rural Improvement Clubs in the City of Valencia, Bukidnon. If you want a yummy twist to the usual polvoron, then this is the answer 🙂

I was able to buy these products from the OTOP store at the Capitol Grounds. You can’t miss it — it’s near the old fountain behind the Cathedral at Barangay 4, Malaybalay City. If you’re facing the old fountain, it’s on your left.
