Valencia City Bukidnon declares liquor ban

Valencia City, Bukidnon has declared a liquor ban starting March 22, 2020, 10 PM. This Valencia Bukidnon liquor ban is part of the city’s measures to combat the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Valencia Mayor Azucena Huervas issued executive order number 25 series of 2020 implementing the said liquor ban.

This means that Valencia Bukidnon residents are prohibited from drinking intoxicating beverages in stores, streets, alleys and other public places. Violators will face arrest and other sanctions in accordance with the law.

This also means that essential business establishments are prohibited from selling and serving liquor. Establishment owners that will violate this will also be sufficiently warned and will possibly face permit revocation.
