Withdrawal of Gellor candidacy for Malaybalay councilor confirmed

MALAYBALAY | MALAYBALAY NEWS | BUKIDNON NEWS – It’s confirmed. Jaime Gellor, Jr., also known as Jimmy Gellor, withdrew his candidacy for Malaybalay City councilor. Gellor will no longer be a part of the Aldeguer – Sajulga team under the Aksyon Demokratiko Party.

Gellor himself confirmed this development to Bukidnon Online. He said that he filed his withdrawal of candidacy last December 2012 but only received the confirmation letter from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) just recently. Gellor cited personal reasons for the withdrawal of his candidacy for Malaybalay City councilor but there are talks that his family may have a hand in his decision.

Gellor, who used to serve as Malaybalay councilor, was supposed to be one of the 8 councilor-candidates fielded by the ADP. The ADP is fielding incumbent Malaybalay Vice Mayor Vic Aldeguer for mayor and Dr. Glorio Sajulga for vice mayor. See their lineup HERE.
