BUKIDNON NEWS | MALAYBALAY CITY – Banker and businessman Estelito “Litoy” Marabe became the third candidate for Malaybalay City mayor after he officially filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) at the Malaybalay Commission on Elections (COMELEC) office Friday, October 5, 2012, the last day of filing.
The two other Malaybalay City mayoralty candidates are re-electionist Ignacio Zubiri and incumbent Vice Mayor Victor Aldeguer.
According to official records, Marabe, who owns D’ Asian Hills Bank (which has 11 branches in Bukidnon), filed his COC at 3:40 PM. He has no running mate. COMELEC’s records classified him as an independent candidate.
Six councilor bets, however, have accordingly joined Litoy Marabe’s team.
