BUKIDNON NEWS | MALAYBALAY CITY – Hundreds of Girl Scouts from all over Bukidnon are currently in Malaybalay City for a Jubilee Encampment.
Roughly 621 Bukidnon girl scouts and about 110 adult mentors are gathered at the Capitol Grounds, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon for the Jubilee Encampment that started last November 29, 2012 and will end on Sunday, December 2, 2012.
The theme for this year’s jubilee encampment is “Bukidnon Girl Scout Council at 60: Focusing, Leading, Changing.”
During the opening ceremony last November 29, 2012, Encampment Coordinator Elsa Orejudos and Bukidnon Girl Scouts Council President Lina Agnes Eduave spoke before the crowd. Bukidnon Blogger member Malaybalayan, a board member of the Girl Scouts Bukidnon council, also shared inspirational words to the girls.
