2012 KAAMULAN FESTIVAL - It’s the Bukidnon festival that everyone looks forward to – the yearly Kaamulan Festival in the Province of Bukidnon.
This time, the 2012 Kaamulan Festival will start on February 16, 2012 and will end on March 10, 2012, the very same day Bukidnon celebrates its foundation day.
The Kaamulan Festival 2012 schedule of activities can be found below.
Kaamulan Festival Bukidnon is the annual gathering of Bukidnon’s 7 hill tribes namely Bukidnon, Talaandig, Manobo, Higaonon, Matigsalug, Tiguahanon and Umayamnon.
Now if you check the Kaamulan 2010 schedule and even the Kaamulan Festival 2011 schedule of activities and you compare it with this year’s sked, you will see that there really are no “big” changes. We’re not sure if that’s a good thing or what. What do you think?
Remember, the Kaamulan Festival is supposedly the province’s biggest tourism event. Just recently, news reports came out stating that the 2012 Kaamulan Festival is the most expensive in the history of Bukidnon.

Hi Kuya Bon, there are slight changes somehow but generally, it’s really the same bunch of activities
Useless festivals? becoz LGU never acted on Malaybalay City Hall Drug incident!! I lost my appreciation somewhere!! Let it be known to everyone that its not fun anymore in Kaamulan or Malaybalay City becoz the culprits of crime were directly or indirectly protected by the Local officials (PDEA and LGU). Mr ZUBIRI and Mr. ALDEGUER with PDEA Director…
sad to think just because people involved are influential but what if people involved are the opposite.

calingasan festival ni?tnan tarp naa iya nawong!
maayad na aldaw inyo alan alan…
The air of festival is already there. But I did not like the tarps with the face of Calingasan on it. Another political strategy? Luod kaayo tan awon iya nawong nga naa sa tanan TARP!. Is he the one who paid for those tarps personally? This goes to show nga TRAPO (traditional politician) siya. Di ba gibawal na man ni Pnoy ni? I was always present during Kaamulan since I was young. Karon pa ko kakita nga ang palibot sa capitol ground, nahurot sa nawong sa governor. I am expecting to see in the tarps the 7 hill tribes people! NOT the face of the governor! Most of my friends think the same as I do. La jud sila ganahi ug tan aw sa mga tarps. Though gwapo siya sa picture but I think, he better reserve it for his next political campaign poster.
I am not a politician nor am I connected with any of them. I am a teacher–so I don’t play politics. My concern is just to let them know that they are no longer doing the right things.
This we called Calingasan Festival 2012. In short EPAL.
Kaamulan is one of the biggest festival in Mindanao.
