A few weeks after Valencia City Bukidnon was rocked by a damaging 5.2 magnitude earthquake, Valencia was again jolted by a 3.6 magnitude quake yesterday, Sunday, November 27, 2011.
According to a statement released by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) in Cagayan de Oro City, the new earthquake occurred at around 6:30 a.m. Reportedly, the epicenter was traced roughly 14 kilometers south of Valencia City, Bukidnon.
No damages or casualties have been reported as of yet.
This recent earthquake is a bit weaker compared to the November 7, 2011 jolt that hit Bukidnon. That earthquake resulted in damages to several properties including a hospital and some commercial establishments.
